About the Position

Anglicare NT is currently seeking a Senior Case Worker to provide case management support for families in our Intensive Family and Parenting Support Service.  This service provides planned, purposeful and time limited support to families to meet child protection safety goals for their children

To be successful you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a case worker case management role, preferably within a child protection setting
  • Ability to work in a culturally sensitve manager to engage and support families with multiple changes
  • Understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based and child focused approaches
  • Experience in developing and writing support plans
  • Knowledge of the complex issues families face, particularly in very remote locations
  • Higher education qualification in social sciences or related field, plus a minimum and demonstrated experience in case management/family support.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess an Ochre Card (Working with Children Clearance), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence.
