Intake & Counsellor - Based in Darwin - Part-time (20 hours per week)

About Us

In the role of Intake & Counsellor, you will be responsible for delivering quality customer service in the facilitation of intake services for clients seeking counselling, family dispute resolution mediation and parent education services.  You will also provide effective administrative support, maintain data collection systems/records and contribute to the efficient running of programs within the Resolve suite of services.  

To be successful, you will posess a higher education (tertiary) qualifications in a social science discipline such as Psychology, Social Work or Counselling resulting in eligibility for membership/credentialing with a relevant professional/registration body.  You will also be able to demonstrate counselling experience in relevant field along with a demonstrated interest in and commitment to working with children (child inclusive), adolescents (youth-friendly) and adults (family-focused) from a diverse background. 

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess an Ochre Card (Working with Children Clearance), a Criminal History Check (within three (3) months) a current Northern Territory driver’s licence.
