About the Position
As the Neighbourhood Enhancement Worker (NEW), you will work with the tenants of Anglicare NT’s transitional and community housing complexes in Alice Springs to foster community participation and to develop a safe and vibrant neighbourhood. The role includes arranging regular community activities and neighbourhood events, forming tenant reference groups and producing newsletters. The successful applicant will have previous experience in neighbourhood renewal or community development and a demonstrated ability to engage community whilst working collaboratively with other service providers.
Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess an Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence.
