About the Position
In the role of Financial Controller you will contribute to the strategic goals of the organisation across the NT. You will be a pro-active, enthusiastic person who has outstanding organisational skills and who has at least 5 years’ experience in a senior financial role in a medium to large organisation.
Good knowledge of financial accounting standards and principles and legislative compliance is vital for this role in assisting Anglicare NT to meet its legal obligations. You will also provide technical, administrative and management support to the Executive Manager Corporate Services and the leadership team.
You will love working with people and will be aligned with the values of Anglicare NT. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the finance team where your professionalism, leadership and financial management will be welcomed. You will have the flexibility to implement new procedures and systems to improve financial practices and process efficiency.
This position will suit you if you have a bachelor degree in accounting, commerce, economic or other related discipline. You will have CPA/CA membership, five (5) years financial management experience, good interpersonal skills, good working knowledge of risk management and quality improvement.
Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess an NT Ochre Card (Working with Children Clearance), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence.
